Christian Education

Mission

The Christian Education Ministering Unit nurtures Christian growth and discipleship in our church family and community. Our goal is to develop and lead programs that help each person become more like Christ in attitude, knowledge and behavior.

Christian Education programs include Sunday School, Bible Study, and Vacation Bible School, as well as various other projects through the year. Programs for children and youth are a special focus. We’ve had some exciting developments in that area, most notably growing interest and participation in our newest youth ministry, the College Hill Community Church Praise Dancers. Among a myriad of other activities, Christian Education helps to plan and sponsor our Annual Fall Women’s Retreat; Christmas, Kwanzaa and Three Kings Sunday Celebrations; Easter Egg Hunts; Mother and Father’s Day Special Events; End of Year Recognition Sundays; and superlative Annual Vacation Bible Schools.
