Deacon Ministry
The Mission of the College Hill Deacons is to minister to members and friends in need, to the sick, friendless, and those in
distress. Our deacons strive to be shepherds to the flock. Deacons assist with funerals, memorials and coordinate a dinner
at the church for each family after the funeral or memorial. Among other responsibilities, they also provide a Thanksgiving
Day meal, and Christmas basket for those in need.
Deacons maintain the Deacon's Emergency Fund to assist members and friends who need help and often assist the Pastor
with worship services, communion, and follow-up with first time visitors. Please contact the Pastor if you are interested in
serving as a College Hill Deacon.
Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. --Galatians 6:2
